Bancaja
As a result of the agreement signed with the Fundación Bancaja, the ULL announced for the first time in the academic year 2007/08 a call for travel grants for students with the most outstanding academic performance.
This grant aid is compatible with the Erasmus scholarship from the National Agency, with scholarships to study in any University belonging to the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science and scholarship aids for university studies in the Canary Islands. It is incompatible with scholarships funded by other financial institutions.
After the 2010 call, all calls from International Bancaja-ULL grants are consolidated into a single call. All students, not only Erasmus, can apply.
Place: Registro General de la ULL (Rectorate)
Deadline: previously said in the official announcement
Information: relinter@ull.es Phone: 922319577
Can apply undergraduate or graduate ULL students selected by their centre to participate in study programs in Europe, America and Africa in the academic year to which the notice relates.
Terms of payment
Payment of the grant is split: 80% upon proof incorporating in the destination facility, 20% after completion of the stay. Revenues will be exclusively paid in Bancaja current account of which he is sole owner of the aid recipient
Because the exchange documentation of the student is held by the Erasmus Office the applicant may only submit the application form published attached to each call, which authorizes the Vice rector of International Relations to access their academic records. The student has to submit an affidavit of Compliance with Tax and Social Security Obligations (also attached to each call).
To justify the aid, recipients must present a certificate of residence, academic certificates and original boarding passes. For Erasmus students, all these procedures are performed only once, in compliance with the Erasmus National Agency.
Awarding criteria
Applications are prioritized according to the weighted average of applicants, which is calculated using the average of his records, the average score of the degree to which the student belongs, and the average of all the degrees of the ULL.
