Introduction

PAP-Erasmus 2009-2010

Mobility programmes for teaching staff, and companies staff

Objectives:

  • Provide teachers with opportunities of professional and personal development.
  • Allow students who can not participate in mobility actions to benefit from expertise of teachers from other countries
  • Promote exchange’s experiences in teaching methodology.
  • Encourage universities to enrich and increase the content of the courses they offer.

Characteristics:

  • The main activity is teaching in a partner university. Other activities can be developed.
  • It is required to teach at least five hours. This activity will last a maximum of six weeks.
  • In order to ensure greater participation of teachers, priority will be given to those who request such mobility for the first time.

Criteria to be chosen:

  • Provide teaching mobility: Teaching staff should be part of a Higher Education Institution which holds an Erasmus University Chart.
  • Staff should be nationals of one of the countries participating in the program or be recognized as permanent resident, refugee or stateless in the country where they live.

Community funds allocated under this action are a contribution to cover travel and living expenses during the stay in the European country. The individual amounts are set by the OAPEE each academic year.

For the academic year 2009/2010 a maximum of 1 week (5 working days) will be granted.

Partner institutions have to agree with the work plan submitted by the teaching staff.
