The Vice Rectorate for International Relations of the University of La Laguna works and plans different actions related with Development Cooperation. These actions are investments in formation and sensibilization, support research projects and direct cooperation between members of the University and other countries.
University Development Cooperation (CUD in Spanish), is a group of international actions direct to the exchange of experiences and resources between countries to reach common goals such as, solidarity, equity, efficiency, mutual interests, sustainability and co-responsibility.
The University assigns part of its funds. The professionals of the University with their commitment and work as well as the Official regional announcements (Government of the Canary Islands) and national announcements (International Spanish Cooperation Agency, AECID) and other private and public funds (such as Bancaja Bourses and Fundación Mapfre) make possible to finance these actions.
