He desarrollado actividades de gestión del medio natural durante 5 años en empresas como TRAGSA y GESPLAN donde entre las actividades destacadas realizaba restauración ecológica de zonas degradas y Evaluación de Impacto Ambiental. Profesor ayudantes de la Universidad Estatal de Oklahoma por dos semestres, y he sido profesor visitante en la Universidad de Siena, Universidad de las Ciencias Aplicadas de Magdeburg y de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.
