Data<\/strong>&nbsp;It is the idea that certain data should be freely available to everyone for use without restrictions from copyright, patents, or other controls. Open data has become an important part of the digital world, as it helps promote transparency, accountability, and public participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This technology helps governments and other organizations become more transparent and accountable to the public. By making data freely available, citizens can see how their governments operate and hold them accountable for their decisions. Open data also allows citizens to participate in the decision-making process. For example, data from a public survey can be used to inform policy decisions, and citizens can actively participate in the decision-making process by providing feedback on the data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To better understand how this data can be classified, we can consider a classification based on its format, as the complexity of interacting with it depends on the format. Their proposed solution is to create smaller warehouses in cities where needed, from which orders can then be delivered to homes in a more environmentally friendly way. Open data can also be used to create social media campaigns and other outreach initiatives that can help involve citizens in the decision-making process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In short, the&nbsp;<strong>Open Data<\/strong>&nbsp;Open data is an important part of the digital world and can help promote transparency, accountability, public participation, innovation, and creativity. By making data freely available, citizens can better understand their governments and participate in the decision-making process. Open data has the potential to improve the efficiency of government and other organizations, and can also lead to new products and services. As government and other organizations continue to adopt open data, the potential for a more open and transparent society will continue to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also highlight the initiative&nbsp;<strong>Open Data Science<\/strong>&nbsp;whose main objective is that the data and tools obtained for the research are freely published so that they can be reused by any person or organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the Chair, we promote research, training, and dissemination activities related to open data.
