Il d\u00e9passe rarement un m\u00e8tre de hauteur et est tr\u00e8s ramifi\u00e9. Ses feuilles, \u00e9troitement lanc\u00e9ol\u00e9es, sont collantes et d\u00e9gagent un ar\u00f4me puissant. Sa floraison, qui a g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement lieu entre la fin du printemps et le d\u00e9but de l&#039;\u00e9t\u00e9, est abondante et se compose de fleurs de taille moyenne \u00e0 p\u00e9tales blancs et \u00e9tamines jaunes. Il est int\u00e9ressant de noter que, dans la nature, on peut l&#039;observer parasit\u00e9 par le ciste (Cytinus hypocistis (L.)
