Son \u00e9pith\u00e8te sp\u00e9cifique, \u201c\u00a0floridus\u00a0\u201d, fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 l&#039;abondance de ses fleurs regroup\u00e9es en larges grappes. Celles-ci sont de couleur variable, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement blanches, mais peuvent aussi pr\u00e9senter des nuances ros\u00e9es.
