Other collaborations

In the context of the doctoral programmes that are now integrated into a single Doctoral Programme in Psychology at the ULL, collaborations have been established with other universities, organisations and institutions, both national and international. Many of these collaborations have been regulated through collaboration agreements that have been formalised by both the Office for the Transfer of Results (OTRI) of the ULL and the Office for International Relations (ORI) in close collaboration with the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation and Excellence of the ULL. The main purpose of this initiative has been none other than to promote the creation of international exchange networks.
This international projection of the PhD program at the Faculty of Psychology translates into the exchange of scientific personnel and scientific and technological cooperation both in the Ibero-American and North American spaces.
Examples of this effort in the creation and participation of scientific exchange networks are the following: a) We have been participating in the Cognitive Neuroscience Thematic Network subsidized by MICINN during the period 2009-2010; b) We have formalized academic joint supervision agreements with the University of Palermo (Italy), and are now being processed with the University of Coimbra (Portugal), University of Guadalajara (Mexico); c) We have been promoting the exchange of scientific personnel as well as scientific and technological cooperation with the Universidad Católica Santísima de la Concepción (Concepción, Chile), with the Universidad del Valle (Guatemala), with the Universidad Casa Grande (Guayaquil, Ecuador), with the Universidad Nacional San Luis Potosí (Mexico), with the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM, Mexico City), Universidad del Valle (Colombia), University of Rio Grande in Brazil, University of Oregon (USA), etc. All this in the context of the following projects financed by the International Cooperation program of the Spanish Agency for Cooperation with Latin America (AECI), which have led to the formalization of agreements that have been processed by the ULL itself.
