Welcome and orientation of new arrivals
The Doctoral School will offer a welcome day for new students, as well as information sessions on specific topics of interest. As a guarantee of the quality of teaching, its improvement, and the protection of the rights of students and faculty, the degree program is governed by specific regulations regarding dissemination mechanisms within the University of La Laguna's Internal Quality Assurance System.
To access any of the ULL's doctoral programs, you must meet the requirements established in Article 5 of the Regulations for Official Doctoral Studies at the University of La Laguna.
The applicant must submit a letter with the endorsement of a researcher as a possible director of the doctoral thesis, with the requirements of theArticle 10 of said Regulation.
Additionally, for this doctoral program, accreditation of a B1 level or higher in English is required, as provided for in article 6 of theULL Doctoral Regulations.

The recommended academic profile for students who want to access this Doctoral Program is that of Graduates in studies related to theKnowledge of tourism from the perspective of economics, business, sociology, and geography. It is particularly geared toward degrees in tourism,Economics, Business Administration and Management, Geography and Sociology and related degrees in the areas listed. Regarding the studies ofOfficial Master's Degree, the Program is specifically aimed at graduates of the Official Master's Degree in Tourism Management and Planning taught by the universities that form part of the REDINTUR network, or equivalent.
Students who do not meet the access profile, coming from master's degrees in the branches of Social and Legal Sciences and Arts and Humanities, will notspecialized in tourism training, must necessarily complete specific training supplements defined in section 3.4 of theDegree verification report. For students who have completed master's degrees in Engineering and Architecture, the Doctoral Academic Committee will determine which additional training courses must be completed from among those indicated in this section.
Students with specific educational support needs

The body responsible for the admissions process is the Academic Committee of the Doctoral Program in Tourism at the University of La Laguna.
The ULL Doctoral Regulations establish that admission to doctoral programs may include specific additional training requirements, in line with the admission profiles established for the corresponding doctoral program.
