The goal of the Institute of Biomedical Technologies (Instituto de Tecnologías Biomédicas - ITB) is to bolster world-class biomedical research: this focuses translational research relating to the biomedical needs of the surroundings, and establishing synergies with the production sector, and developing sustainable strategic plans.
