General Competencies

One of the purposes of university-specific degrees is to contribute to lifelong learning from a university perspective. In this sense, the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) constitutes a reference for promoting lifelong learning. In line with this framework, university-specific degrees guarantee, as a minimum, the following knowledge, skills, and competences, corresponding to EQF level 6:

CG1. That students possess advanced knowledge in a field of work or study that requires a critical understanding of theories and principles.

CG2. Students must demonstrate the mastery and innovative skills necessary to solve complex and unpredictable problems in a specialized field of work or study.

CG3. Students should be able to manage complex technical or professional activities or projects, assuming responsibility for decision-making in unpredictable work or study contexts.

CG4. Students should be able to assume responsibility for managing the professional development of individuals and groups.

Specific Competencies

After completing this degree, students will have acquired, in addition to general skills on all aspects related to the real estate market, other specific skills, such as:

CE1 – Acquire the ability to analyze legal and economic problems related to the real estate sector and search for solutions appropriate to applicable regulations.

CE2 – Acquire knowledge of the basic concepts and content of Property Management and the legal regime of homeowner associations.

CE3 – Acquire the ability to use legal sources (legal, jurisprudential and doctrinal) to resolve issues concerning the real estate market.

CE4 – Develop the skills necessary for negotiation, mediation, and arbitration as a method of conflict resolution in the field of property management.

CE5 – Manage new technologies in the development of the work of a real estate market professional.

CE6 – Improve communication skills in the field of professional practice.
