Competencies
According to Royal Decree 861/2010, of July 2, which modifies Royal Decree 1393/2007, of October 29, which establishes the organization of official university education, the following basic competencies will be guaranteed, as a minimum, in the case of the Master's degree, and those others that appear in the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education, MECES:
That students possess the learning skills that allow them to continue studying in a manner that will be largely self-directed or autonomous.
Possess and understand knowledge that provides a basis or opportunity for originality in the development and/or application of ideas, often in a research context.
That students know how to apply the knowledge they have acquired and their problem-solving skills in new or unfamiliar environments within broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts related to their area of study.
Students should be able to integrate knowledge and address the complexity of making judgments based on information that, while incomplete or limited, includes reflections on the social and ethical responsibilities associated with the application of their knowledge and judgments.
Students should be able to communicate their conclusions—and the knowledge and underlying reasons that support them—to specialized and non-specialized audiences in a clear and unambiguous manner.
- CG1. That participating faculty members understand the fundamental concepts and principles of university teaching based on the use of digital technologies in blended and online teaching contexts (faculty digital competence).
- CG2. That participating teachers analyze and reflect on their teaching practices regarding the pedagogical use of ICT.
- CG3. That participating teachers acquire the necessary knowledge to organize a virtual classroom tailored to the needs of blended or online learning.
- CG4. Participating faculty will be familiar with and apply resources in different formats for presenting and communicating knowledge in the context of distance learning at university level.
- CG5. Participating teachers should be familiar with and apply the tools necessary for online communication, as well as the main methodologies associated with teaching with ICT.
- CG6. Participating teachers should be able to use the resources and tools of the virtual classroom, proposing different activities for online training.
- CG7. That participating teachers understand and put into practice the didactic principles of ICT assessment in non-face-to-face environments.
- CG8. That participating faculty use the tools and resources to create digital teaching materials for university teaching.
