Admission and scale

Admission of students:

The admissions body will be the Expert's Academic Committee.

This body will be responsible for:

  • Review the admission profile and concurrent merits in the file and curriculum vitae of each applicant.
  • Verify that the documents submitted comply with the formal requirements of officiality and veracity.
  • Evaluate the relevance of the curriculum and academic record.
  • Publish the results of the selection and admission to the program through relevant media.

Admission criteria will be based on degree, academic record, professional experience in psychology, and income.

These criteria are based on the principles of equality, merit and ability.

The purpose of this program is to provide updated training for various groups in the field of third-generation psychological therapies, with application in clinical and community settings. Therefore, it will preferentially require applicants who meet the qualification requirements in:

– Psychology.
– Psychiatry.
- Medicine.
– Pedagogy.
– Psychopedagogy

Selection criteria: 

Criteria.

1. Qualification:

  • Psychology: 4 points
  • Psychiatry: 3 points
  • Medicine: 2 points
  • Pedagogy / Psychopedagogy: 1 point

2. Direct academic record: 1 to 4 points

3. Professional experience (accredited):

  • Five years or more: 4 points
  • From two to four years: 3 points
  • One year: 2 points
  • Between 6 and 12 months: 1 point

4. Income: In the event of a tie in the previous score, they will be ordered from lowest to highest income.

Access

To access the Postgraduate Degrees (Master's Degree in Continuing Education, Specialization Diploma and Expert Diploma) it will be necessary:

a) Hold an official Spanish university degree or another degree issued by a higher education institution belonging to another Member State of the European Higher Education Area, which qualifies the applicant for access to master's degrees.

b) Hold a degree issued by an educational system outside the European Higher Education Area without a recognition resolution or declaration of equivalence. In these cases, the academic administration will submit a preliminary report to the Academic Committee, which will authorize or deny access. Under no circumstances will this authorization imply recognition of the foreign degree or its recognition for purposes other than pursuing postgraduate studies at the ULL.

Individuals without a university degree qualifying for admission to Postgraduate Diplomas and who can provide documentary evidence of significant and extensive professional experience in the subject of their studies may access the Expert Diploma through a professional experience recognition procedure. The Academic Committee of the postgraduate diploma will be responsible for recognizing students' professional experience and authorizing their admission.

Those who cannot meet the entry requirements at the time of enrollment may apply for conditional enrollment, which is valid for the same period as a regular enrollment. In this case, they will not be entitled to the respective certification or degree until these requirements are met. Failure to obtain the degree will not entitle them to a refund of tuition, fees, or other fixed costs.

From October 9, 2024 to October 21, 2024.

Impartation

From November 8, 2024 to May 17, 2025.
