Expert Diploma in Digital Competencies for Teaching

The need to ensure high-quality teaching has become one of the priority objectives of the European Strategic Framework for Education and Training (ET 2020). The Common Framework for Digital Competence in Teachers is a framework that serves as a reference to support the development of teachers' digital competences, with the aim of improving their teaching practice and for their lifelong learning. This title is presented as a training proposal that addresses aspects related to the digital transformation of teaching, emerging content and methodologies using ICT, assessment using ICT, the design and management of a virtual classroom, communication and monitoring of assessment activities, as well as the tools necessary for the creation of digital teaching materials. Although the title is aimed at all teaching staff, it is also true that its conception and design has been made with a specific profile in mind for the training of new teaching staff, including the pre- or postdoctoral research groups hired by Ramón y Cajal, Viera y Clavijo, Juan de la Cierva or researchers with teaching assignments in the POD.
