According to the Agreement 6.a) of February 22, 2024 of the Governing Council approving the Regulations for the University of La Laguna's Own Teachings. To access the Postgraduate Diplomas (Master's Degree in Continuing Education, Specialization Diploma, and Expert Diploma), the following must be: a) Held by an official Spanish university degree or another degree issued by a higher education institution belonging to another Member State of the European Higher Education Area, which qualifies for access to master's degrees. b) Held by a degree issued by an educational system outside the European Higher Education Area without a homologation resolution or declaration of equivalence. In these cases, the academic management will submit a preliminary report to the Academic Committee, which will authorize or deny access. Under no circumstances will the authorization imply the homologation of the foreign degree, nor its recognition for purposes other than pursuing a postgraduate degree at the ULL. Those without a university degree qualifying for admission to Postgraduate Diplomas and who can provide documentary evidence of significant and extensive professional experience in the subject of their studies may access the Expert Diploma through a professional experience recognition procedure. The Academic Committee of the Diploma will be responsible for recognizing students' professional experience and authorizing their admission. Those who cannot meet the corresponding admission requirements at the time of enrollment may request conditional enrollment, which has the same validity as regular enrollment. In this case, they will not be entitled to the respective certification or degree until these requirements are met. Failure to obtain the degree will not entitle them to a refund of tuition, fees, or other fixed costs paid.
Admission of students: The admissions process will be conducted through an application from interested parties, which will be processed by the University of La Laguna unit responsible for managing the university's own degrees. To be eligible to participate in the program, it is essential to be affiliated with the University of La Laguna: as a university professor, either as a civil servant or as a contracted professor. Faculty members with the Venia Docendi program, including those from centers affiliated with the University of La Laguna, may also apply. Selection criteria: Although this Digital Competence Training Certificate is designed for the ongoing training of faculty at the University of La Laguna, priority will be given to new faculty. The order of prioritization will be as follows: faculty with new accreditation for a blended or online degree program; teaching assistants; assistants; associates; postdoctoral fellows (Ramón y Cajal, Viera y Clavijo, Juan de la Cierva, and Beatriz Galindo); temporary staff; Venia Docendi fellows; faculty from affiliated centers.
