Competencies

Basic and General Competencies

One of the purposes of university-specific qualifications is to contribute to lifelong learning from a university perspective. In this sense, the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) constitutes a reference for promoting lifelong learning. Therefore, it is necessary that, at a minimum, students acquire knowledge, skills, and competencies,
corresponding to EQF level 7, such as:

CB1. Understand highly specialized knowledge of the cutting-edge social and solidarity economy sector.

CB2. Acquire a critical awareness of knowledge issues in this sector and understand how it connects with other sectors.

CB3. Develop specialized problem-solving skills aimed at creating companies in the sector and their organization, direction, and management, applying new knowledge and procedures.

CB4. Know how to find innovative solutions in complex and unpredictable work environments that require new strategic approaches.

CB5. Assume responsibility for decision-making in professional practice and reviewing the strategic performance of teams.

Specific Competencies

This training will allow you to acquire academic and professional qualifications:

CE1. Understand the functioning of the entities and companies that constitute the social and solidarity economy.

CE2. Understand the role of public policies that develop lines of action aimed at promoting this business sector.

CE3. Understand the legal, commercial, and labor specificities of companies and entities in the social and solidarity economy.

CE4. Understand the accounting and tax specifics of social and solidarity economy companies and entities.

CE5. Know how to apply the strategic management process in companies and entities of the social economy.

CE6. Know and apply human resources strategies in companies in the sector.

CE7. Understand how digitalization and the business networks that develop among social economy enterprises work.
