According to the Agreement 6.a) of February 22, 2024 of the Governing Council approving the Regulations for the University of La Laguna's Own Teachings.
To access the Postgraduate Degrees (Master's Degree in Continuing Education, Specialization Diploma and Expert Diploma) it will be necessary:
a) Hold an official Spanish university degree or another degree issued by a higher education institution belonging to another Member State of the European Higher Education Area, which qualifies the applicant for access to master's degrees.
b) Hold a degree issued by an educational system outside the European Higher Education Area without a recognition resolution or declaration of equivalence. In these cases, the academic administration will submit a preliminary report to the Academic Committee, which will authorize or deny access. Under no circumstances will this authorization imply recognition of the foreign degree or its recognition for purposes other than pursuing postgraduate studies at the ULL.
Individuals without a university degree qualifying for admission to Postgraduate Diplomas and who can provide documentary evidence of significant and extensive professional experience in the subject of their studies may access the Expert Diploma through a professional experience recognition procedure. The Academic Committee of the postgraduate diploma will be responsible for recognizing students' professional experience and authorizing their admission.
Those who cannot meet the entry requirements at the time of enrollment may apply for conditional enrollment, which is valid for the same period as a regular enrollment. In this case, they will not be entitled to the respective certification or degree until these requirements are met. Failure to obtain the degree will not entitle them to a refund of tuition, fees, or other fixed costs.
Students who meet the entry requirements may apply for admission to the expert qualification. The academic committee establishes the specific admission requirements or merit assessment criteria if the number of applications exceeds the number of places offered (20 places). These criteria will be made public during the pre-registration period.
