Competencies

Basic Competencies

According to Royal Decree 861/2010, of July 2, which modifies Royal Decree 1393/2007, of October 29, which establishes the organization of official university education, the following basic competencies will be guaranteed, as a minimum, in the case of the Master's degree, and those others that appear in the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education, MECES:

1. Possess and understand knowledge that provides a basis or opportunity for originality in the development and/or application of ideas, often in a research context.

2. That students know how to apply the knowledge acquired and their problem-solving skills in new or unfamiliar environments within broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts related to their area of study.

3. Students should be able to integrate knowledge and address the complexity of making judgments based on information that, while incomplete or limited, includes reflections on the social and ethical responsibilities associated with the application of their knowledge and judgments.

4. Students should be able to communicate their conclusions—and the knowledge and underlying reasons that support them—to specialized and non-specialized audiences in a clear and unambiguous manner.

5. That students possess the learning skills that allow them to continue studying in a manner that will be largely self-directed or autonomous.

POSTGRADUATE
One of the purposes of university-specific degrees is to contribute to lifelong learning from a university perspective. In this sense, the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) constitutes a reference for promoting lifelong learning. In line with this framework, postgraduate degrees guarantee, as a minimum, the following knowledge, skills, and competences, corresponding to EQF level 7:

CB1. Students will possess and understand highly specialized knowledge, some of it cutting-edge in a specific field of work or study, which lays the foundation for original thinking or research.

CB2. That students acquire critical awareness of knowledge issues in a specific field and at the point of articulation between different fields.

CB3. That students develop specialized skills for problem-solving in research or innovation, with a view to developing new knowledge and procedures, and integrating knowledge in various fields.

CB4. Students should be able to manage and transform complex and unpredictable work or study contexts that require new strategic approaches.

CB5. That students are able to assume responsibilities regarding the development of knowledge and/or professional practices and the review of the strategic performance of teams.

Specific Competencies

CE.1. Know and understand the object of study of relational psychomotricity and its application as an intervention methodology in Early Intervention.

CE.2. Understand the process of building bonds through emotional relationships and their importance in the process of constructing identity and personal autonomy as principles of Early Intervention.

CE.3. Carry out diagnostic and evaluation tasks on students who present difficulties in relating or motor alterations through observation and recording of psychomotor expressiveness, taking into account psychomotor parameters.

CE.4. Ability to design psychomotor intervention proposals taking into account material and human resources and the context in which the practice takes place.

CE.5. Identify risk factors for learning and socio-affective development in the child population.

CE.6. Develop bodily availability and the tonic-emotional relationship in a way that helps others express themselves and evolve healthily in their environment.

CE.7. Ability to accompany and advise families and other professionals, gathering information and making public the results of their professional knowledge in the field of relational psychomotricity and case studies.

CE.8. Acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to design a creative practice tailored to the characteristics of the subjects with whom one intervenes.

CE.9. Develop a reflective attitude toward intervention that allows for evaluation and the search for alternatives to the problems encountered.

CE.10. Develop an empathetic attitude toward the child's needs and the demands and difficulties of his or her family.

CE. 11. Acquire through personal development attitudes of respect, privacy and commitment to classmates.
