To access the Diploma of Specialization in Psychology of Physical Activity and Sport, it will be necessary to:
Individuals who do not hold a university degree that qualifies them for admission to the Postgraduate Diplomas but can provide documentary evidence of significant and extensive professional experience in the subject matter of the program may be admitted to the Expert Diploma through a professional experience recognition process. The Academic Committee for the Postgraduate Diploma will be responsible for recognizing the professional experience of students and authorizing their admission.
In the case of those who, at the time of enrollment, cannot provide proof of the corresponding admission requirements (for example, they have not yet passed their final degree project), they may request conditional enrollment, which is valid as a standard enrollment. In this case, they will not be entitled to the corresponding certificate or degree until these requirements are met. Failure to obtain the degree will not entitle them to a refund of the tuition fees, taxes, and other fixed costs paid.
The admission process for the Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology of Physical Activity and Sport will be based on applications submitted by interested individuals and processed by the Continuing Education Center. The Center will be responsible for verifying that each applicant meets the admission requirements.
In this Specialization Diploma, 5 % places will be reserved for students with a recognized disability level equal to or greater than 33 %.
In the event of rejection, the student may file a complaint with the Subcommittee on Special Degrees and Microcredentials of the Committee on Special Studies and, in the event of a negative decision, may file an appeal with the Rector of the ULL.
If, after the pre-registration period, there are still vacant places, an extraordinary pre-registration period may be established at the discretion of the Academic Committee for each degree, which will set the deadline it deems appropriate.
Admission criteria:
This Diploma in Specialization in Psychology of Physical Activity and High-Performance Sport is aimed at:
Level IGraduates/degree holders in psychology or physical activity and sports sciences, although graduates in Early Childhood Education and Primary Education, Nutrition and Physiotherapy may also access, as well as coaches, physical-sports educators, senior technicians in animation of physical and sports activities and sports monitors who have a university degree.
Level IIProfessionals with experience in the fields of psychology, training and physical preparation, physiotherapy, nutrition and any area related to sports performance with prior studies in Psychology, Sports Science, Nutrition, or Physiotherapy, among others.
Level III: Final year students in the health or education field (it is necessary to obtain a degree in order to obtain the Diploma of Specialization).
Priority will be given to the enrollment of students at level I, then level II, and finally level III.
