Access and admission
According to the agreement 6.a) of 22-02-20204 of the Governing Council of the University of La Laguna by which The Regulations for the University of La Laguna's Own Teachings are approved,
To access the Postgraduate Degrees (Master's Degree in Continuing Education, Specialization Diploma and Expert Diploma) it will be necessary:
- Hold an official Spanish university degree or another degree issued by a higher education institution belonging to another Member State of the European Higher Education Area, which qualifies the applicant for access to master's degrees.
- Possessing a degree issued by an educational system outside the European Higher Education Area without a recognition resolution or declaration of equivalence. In these cases, the academic administration will submit a preliminary report to the Academic Committee, which will authorize or deny admission. Under no circumstances will this authorization imply recognition of the foreign degree or its recognition for purposes other than pursuing postgraduate studies at the ULL.
The admissions process for the Expert Diploma will be carried out in two phases. In the first, teaching assistants with a doctorate degree from the LOSU will be enrolled ex officio, given the compulsory nature of the training. Only if, once this enrollment is complete, are there any vacancies, will the Continuing Education Center open the application process. The following priority criteria have been established.
a) Professional category:
(1) Assistant Professor Doctor
(2) Contracted Doctor or permanent teaching staff
(3) PDI official
(4) Associate professor.
(5) Postdoctoral research staff with teaching assignment
(6) Teaching staff of the affiliated schools.
(7) Substitute teachers.
b) Seniority: Applications within each category will be ordered from youngest to oldest.
c) Order of registration: Under equal conditions, the strict order in which applications are received will be taken into account.
Applications within each category will be ranked from earliest to oldest, and all other things being equal, the strict order in which applications are received (registration order) will be taken into account.
If, after the pre-registration period, there are still vacant places, an extraordinary pre-registration period may be established at the discretion of the Academic Committee of the degree, which will set the deadline it deems appropriate.
In this title, 2 places (5% of the available places) will be reserved for teachers.
