Final degree project

The learning outcomes pursued are:

  • Demonstrate that you know how to make a proposal for intervention, innovation, or research in an area of bilingual education.
  • Correctly write a scientific report that describes the report following the guidelines of the scientific community.
  • Present and defend the Master's Thesis correctly and fluently before a panel.

Students may choose between one of the two options detailed below. The thesis must also be written and presented in English.

Educational Research or Innovation Modality

- Introduction.
– Statement of the problem of innovation, experimentation, research.
– Method and procedure.
- Results.
– Conclusions and proposal for improvement.
– Bibliographic references.
– Annexes.

Educational Practice Modality 

- Introduction
– Reflective analysis and critical assessment of the teaching program, taking into account the provisions of the regulations, the characteristics of the school's location, its educational project, its annual general program, and the provisions of the last academic year's annual report.
– Annual programming: designed by the student and framed within the teaching program for a CLIL subject in which they carry out their practical work (classroom programming), contextualized within a class group with whom they have had some teaching responsibility, specifying between 6 and 12 teaching units (or work units). The entire program must be duly substantiated, briefly describing the structure and pedagogical relevance (justification) of each teaching unit, and must be presented as a coherent proposal.
– CLIL teaching unit (or work unit): chosen from those proposed by the students in their classroom program, fully developed (exhaustive planning of the teaching/learning activities, practical application of some of the planned activities, and subsequent reflection/evaluation with a proposal for improving the unit itself).
– Conclusions.
– Bibliographic references.
– Annexes.
