General information

The courses leading to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees are offered by the University of La Laguna to provide a university education that meets social demand and is not covered by official undergraduate or postgraduate degrees. The objectives of these degrees are as follows:

  • Attend to courses not included in the official degree catalogue of the University of La Laguna.
  • To complete the academic training of university graduates and professionals, offering the opportunity to further their professional, scientific, technical, or artistic specialization and development.
  • Develop activities that respond to the demands of the University or the social environment, which serve to disseminate our culture in other countries, as well as a means of collaboration with other universities, institutions, or public and private organizations.
  • Contribute to lifelong learning from a university perspective.
  • In postgraduate programs, disseminate new areas of research with potential for professional application.

In any case, these degrees will lack the legal effects granted to official degrees valid throughout the national territory. However, the University of La Laguna will promote the recognition by public and private organizations of degrees corresponding to its own programs.
