Competencies

Basic Competencies

CB1. Possess and understand knowledge that provides a basis or opportunity for originality in the development and/or application of ideas, often in a research context.

CB2. Students will be able to apply their acquired knowledge and problem-solving skills in new or unfamiliar environments within broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts related to their area of study.

CB3. Students will be able to integrate knowledge and confront the complexity of making judgments based on information that, while incomplete or limited, includes reflections on the social and ethical responsibilities associated with the application of their knowledge and judgments.

CB4. Students should be able to communicate their conclusions and the underlying knowledge and rationale that supports them to both specialized and non-specialized audiences in a clear and unambiguous manner.

CB5. Students should have the learning skills to continue their studies in a manner that will be largely self-directed or autonomous.

General Competencies

CG1. Know the rules and coherent, correct, and appropriate use of the Spanish language, both orally and in writing.

CG2. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to new situations, with a proactive and positive attitude.

CG3. Use critical reasoning, creative, organizational, and analytical skills in decision-making.

CE1. Understand how new ways of accessing, appropriating and transmitting information work.

CE2. Acquire the capacity and entrepreneurial spirit that fosters the creation and promotion of cultural, communication, and educational projects.

CE3. Understand how gender socialization occurs.

CE4. Better understand the social reality of inequality and the key steps to overcome it.

CE5. Analyze and delve into the way adults learn.

CE6. Learn to foster and develop skills that foster creativity.

CE7. Know the basic regulations and know how to interpret culture and heritage.

CE8. Acquire knowledge of the basic elements of legislation in the field of culture.

CE9. Understand the social, economic, and heritage value of culture and cultural policies.

CE10. Acquire knowledge of the professional and business sector of culture and of professional networks in cultural management.

CE11. Learn basic marketing knowledge.

CE12. Acquire tools for managing municipal cultural projects.

CE13. Rigorously examine the problems of current citizenship.

CE14. Identify concepts related to the different dimensions of being human and working towards cultural integration.

CE15. Understand the different theoretical and methodological foundations of values and citizenship education.

CE16. Promote, implement, and evaluate citizen participation programs that are appropriate for different institutions.
