Access and admission

Access

According to the Regulations of the ULL's own degrees, art.6 (ARTICLE 6 OF THE REGULATIONS OF THE ULL'S OWN DEGREES, BOULL 06/29/2017):

2. Those who meet the following requirements may access the studies and obtain the Master's degree:

a) Be in possession of an official university degree, another expressly declared equivalent or an official university degree obtained in accordance with university education systems prior to that established in Royal Decree 1393/2007, of October 29 (BOE No. 260, of October 30).

b) Hold a bachelor's degree from the ULL, or equivalent from another university, with a minimum duration of 120 ECTS credits. In this case, the student may enroll in master's studies, but will not receive the degree. If the student passes the assessment for all subjects of the degree, they may apply for a Specific Training Certificate.

c) Proof of having earned at least 180 ECTS credits corresponding to official undergraduate studies. In this case, the student must have completed their undergraduate studies before applying for a master's degree. If the student does not complete their official undergraduate studies and applies for a master's degree, they will obtain a Specific Training Certificate.

d) Those who can demonstrate professional experience in the field of activities related to the degree's own qualification of at least two years. In this case, the student may access the master's degree, but will not obtain the qualification. If the student passes the assessment for all the subjects of the degree, they may apply for the Specific Training Certificate. The Vice-Rector's Office responsible for specific qualifications will verify the professional experience of these students and authorize their admission.

3. As a general rule, those who meet the following requirements may access the studies and obtain the Diploma of Specialization, University Expert or Specific Training Certificate:

a) Those established in the previous section for master's degrees.

b) Those who pass a specific entrance exam, for which the director of the university's own degree will be responsible, in which the student will demonstrate that they possess the basic knowledge necessary to successfully complete the university's own degree. The academic director must have included this access system in the application form for the degree and will inform the responsible Vice-Rectorate of the students who have passed this exam in order for them to be admitted.

4. Those who can prove they hold a recognized foreign higher education degree or one equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish undergraduate degrees will also have access to studies leading to ULL's own postgraduate degrees. For this purpose, recognition of said degree is not required, but prior verification that it qualifies the student in the country that issued it for access to postgraduate studies is required.

5. In cases where students do not meet the entry requirements but still wish to pursue the courses, they may do so. However, upon completion, they will not receive a university degree. Instead, they will receive a certificate of attendance and completion of a training course detailing the subject matter, content, and hours completed. This certificate will be issued by the Vice-Rector's Office responsible for managing university-specific degrees.

6. Likewise, students who only wish to take one or more subjects from a university-specific degree will be admitted, provided there are available places. In these cases, students will receive a certificate of attendance and achievement issued by the Vice-Rector's Office responsible for managing university-specific degrees for each of the subjects taken.

As a specific rule for access to the EDU-ULL, the same access requirements will be considered as those for access to the PDI Training Plan of the University of La Laguna and those proposed by the Academic Committee of the degree.
