Competencies

Basic Competencies

CB1. Possess and understand knowledge that provides a basis or opportunity for originality in the development and/or application of ideas, often in a research context.

CB2. Students will be able to apply their acquired knowledge and problem-solving skills in new or unfamiliar environments within broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts related to their area of study.

CB3. Students should be able to integrate knowledge and address the complexity of making judgments based on information that, while incomplete or limited, includes reflections on the social and ethical responsibilities associated with the application of their knowledge and judgments.

CB4. Students should be able to communicate their conclusions—and the knowledge and underlying reasons that support them—to specialized and non-specialized audiences in a clear and unambiguous manner.

CB5. Students should have the learning skills to continue their studies in a manner that will be largely self-directed or autonomous.

General Competencies

CG1. Participants should analyze the significance of the teaching role of university professors.

CG2. Participants should adapt their teaching methods to the current university training model.

CG3. Participants will acquire the necessary knowledge in relation to the different areas in which the university professor profile is embodied.

CG4. Participants should have the ability to search for information and be able to synthesize and apply the knowledge they have learned.

CG5. Participants will use tools and instruments for decision-making and problem-solving specific to university teaching.

CG6. Participants will develop skills for organizing and managing teaching-learning processes.

CG7. Participants will develop competencies related to knowledge, know-how, and how to be in relation to their role as teachers.
