Access criteria

Access to both a specific module and the degree as a whole will be carried out in accordance with the ULL's own Degree Regulations, art. 6.

The admissions process will be conducted through an application from interested parties, which will be processed by the University of La Laguna unit responsible for managing the university's own degrees.

Those who meet the following requirements will be able to access the studies and obtain the University Expert qualification:

a) Be in possession of an official university degree, another expressly declared equivalent or an official university degree obtained in accordance with university education systems prior to that established in Royal Decree 1393/2007, of October 29 (BOE No. 260, of October 30).

b) Hold a bachelor's degree from the ULL, or equivalent from another university, with a minimum duration of 120 ECTS credits. In this case, the student may access expert studies but will not obtain the qualification. If the student passes the assessment for all subjects of the degree, they may apply for a Specific Training Certificate.

c) Proof of having earned at least 180 ECTS credits corresponding to official undergraduate studies. In this case, students must have completed their undergraduate studies before applying for the expert certification. If the student does not complete their official undergraduate studies and applies for the official certification, they will obtain the Specific Training Certificate.

d) Those who can demonstrate professional experience in the field of activities related to the degree's own qualification of at least two years. In this case, the student may access expert studies, but will not obtain the qualification. If the student passes the assessment for all subjects of the degree, they may apply for the Specific Training Certificate. The Vice-Rector's Office responsible for specific qualifications will verify the professional experience of these students and authorize their admission.

Those who can prove they hold a recognized foreign higher education degree or one equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish undergraduate degree will also have access to studies leading to ULL's own postgraduate degrees. For this purpose, recognition of said degree is not required, but prior verification that it qualifies for access to postgraduate studies in the country where it was issued.

Recommended access profile: Scientific-technical and social science degrees.
