Access and admission

Access

Those who meet the following requirements will be able to access the studies and obtain the Master's degree:

Those who can prove they hold a recognized foreign higher education degree or one equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish undergraduate degree will also have access to studies leading to ULL's own postgraduate degrees. For this purpose, recognition of said degree is not required, but prior verification that it qualifies in the country of issue for access to postgraduate studies.

Hold an official university degree, another degree expressly declared equivalent, or an official university degree obtained in accordance with university education systems prior to that established in Royal Decree 1393/2007, of October 29 (BOE No. 260, of October 30).

Hold a bachelor's degree from the ULL, or equivalent from another university, with a minimum duration of 120 ECTS credits. In this case, the student will be able to access master's studies but will not receive the degree. If the student passes the assessment for all subjects of the degree, they may apply for a Specific Training Certificate.

Proof of having earned at least 180 ECTS credits corresponding to official undergraduate studies. In this case, the student must have completed their undergraduate studies before applying for a master's degree. If the student does not complete their official undergraduate studies and applies for a master's degree, they will obtain a Specific Training Certificate.

Those who can demonstrate professional experience in the field of activities related to the degree's own qualification of at least two years. In this case, the student will be able to access the master's degree but will not obtain the qualification. If the student passes the assessment for all the subjects of the degree, they may apply for the Specific Training Certificate. The Vice-Rector's Office responsible for specific qualifications will verify the professional experience of these students and authorize their admission.

In addition to what is indicated by the Regulations for Own Degrees (BOULL 29/06/2017), the Academic Committee establishes as specific requirements for admission to the Own Master's Degree in Water Management, that students must be graduates of one of the following degrees:

Civil Engineer

Civil engineer

Technical Engineer of Public Works

Chemical Engineers

Graduates in Industrial Chemical Engineering

Graduates in Environmental Sciences

Graduates, Technical or Higher Engineers in other scientific specialties

Technologies that may be related to the hydraulic sector

Scale

Students who meet the access requirements established in the previous article may apply for admission to the corresponding postgraduate degree. In the event that the
If applications exceed the established limit for places, the Academic Committee of the degree will apply the following specific criteria for scoring and assessing merits:
A) Academic training: (maximum 7 points)
a.1. Record of the degree granting access (from 1 to 4 points): The average resulting from assigning the following values to the grades obtained by the student in the studies that qualify him/her for access to postgraduate studies will be calculated:
Approved 1 point
Notable: 2 points
Outstanding: 3 points
First Class Honors: 4 points
a.2. Qualifications related to the content of the Master's degree: Up to 3 points.
B) Professional experience: Professional experience in subjects related to the content of the Master's degree that the applicant intends to pursue will be valued (maximum 3 points).
In case of a tie between candidates, after applying the criteria specified in the previous sections, A and B, those students with the same score must take a test
specific access test, in which they will demonstrate that they possess the basic knowledge to be able to successfully complete the degree. The grade obtained in said test will determine the order of priority of each applicant on the final list of candidates.
