Master's Degree in Civil Engineering in the Municipal Area

Access and admission

Access

As a general rule, those who meet the following requirements will be eligible to enroll in the Master's degree:

a) Be in possession of an official university degree, another expressly declared equivalent or an official university degree obtained in accordance with university education systems prior to that established in Royal Decree 1393/2007, of October 29 (BOE No. 260, of October 30).
b) Hold a bachelor's degree from the University of La Laguna, equivalent to another university, with a minimum duration of 120 ECTS credits.
c) Proof of having earned at least 180 ECTS credits corresponding to official undergraduate studies. In this case, rectoral authorization will be required, upon reasoned request from the academic director of the university-specific degree. Furthermore, undergraduate studies must be completed before the university-specific degree is issued, and it will not be issued until proof of completion is provided.

Those who can prove they hold a recognized foreign higher education degree or one equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish undergraduate degree will also have access to studies leading to postgraduate degrees from the University of La Laguna. For this purpose, recognition of said degree is not required, but prior verification that it qualifies students in the country of issue for access to postgraduate studies is required. However, the relevant rectoral authorization will be required for enrollment, subject to a report from the Postgraduate Studies Committee.
