Interuniversity Master's Degree in Port and Coastal Engineering

Final degree project

Preparation of a project with a workload equivalent to 15 ECTS credits, tutored by a professor of the degree, and in accordance with the regulations in force at the university where it is developed.

The final project will be assessed by a committee whose composition and other aspects will correspond to the regulations of the university where it is developed. The assessment of the work will take into account the formal accuracy of the submitted document (10%), the application of acquired knowledge and the development of novel ideas and solutions (70%), the clarity of the presentation of the work, and the brilliance of the student's arguments and defenses during question time. The tutor will have a voice but no vote in the deliberations regarding the final grade.

By defending the Master's Thesis, the student demonstrates that he or she has acquired the competencies of the degree and achieved the overall learning outcomes of the degree.
