The degree is aimed at healthcare professionals with experience in the public (or private) healthcare system and all those related to healthcare (administrative staff, economists, public relations, media, etc.), especially those interested in Emergency Healthcare in Spain and therefore in the Canary Islands, providing professionals in the world of Emergency and Urgent Healthcare with the specific training necessary to improve their healthcare delivery and consequently their effectiveness and efficiency towards the patient.
In addition to those included in Article 7 of Agreement 7/CG 27-06-2017, which approves the Regulation of Own Degrees of the University of La Laguna, published in the BOULL Year II No. 12 Thursday, June 29, 2017, being a graduate of the Health Sciences branch, that is, Graduates in Nursing and Medicine, Diploma holders in Nursing, Bachelors in Medicine and any other university graduate in the field of Health Sciences (clinical pharmacologists, nutritionists, physiotherapists, etc.).
Article 7.- Admission. The admission process will be carried out through applications from interested parties, which will be processed by the ULL unit responsible for managing university-specific degrees. This unit will be responsible for verifying that applicants meet the admission requirements.
They may take certain Modules or Subjects separately provided that they comply with the regulations in this regard set out in Article 8.- Pre-registration and enrolment, of Agreement 7/CG 27-06-2017 approving the Regulations for University of La Laguna's Own Degrees, published in BOULL Year II No. 12 Thursday, 29 June 2017. Section: 8.3. Postgraduate studies may be taken partially, if this option is contemplated in the project for these studies.– You must complete the pre-registration process between May 5, 2025 and October 10, 2025 through the Electronic Headquarters of the University of La Laguna.
For medical graduates, the Master's degree does not qualify for the practice of emergency medicine, nor does it accredit the title of specialist physician (RD 127/1984 and 139/2003).
