For its part, the University of La Laguna, in the general guidelines for the design of the Bachelor's Degree, collecting what is established in art. 12.2 of RD 1393, establishes the possibility of including in the offer transversal and/or interdisciplinary subjects that contain common content to the different subjects offered within the same degree or even other degrees belonging to the same branch of knowledge.
It recommends –although it does not require– that 60 ECTS credits be programmed in common with the degrees in the same branch and, in the event that only 36 are chosen –as is the case with our degree (see attached table)—, that they all be taken during the first year.
Given the structure of the Double Degree program, recognition for Advanced Vocational Training courses, professional experience, or participation in University of La Laguna activities is not provided. In any case, please note that passing a subject through any type of recognition means that it is not possible to apply that subject to any other recognition.
The credit recognition indicated will become effective after passing all the credits required for the double degree.
The grade for recognized subjects will be the weighted average, by ECTS credits, of the subjects required to obtain that recognition.
