In the 2007-2008 academic year, a total of 251 TP3T of teaching staff participated in the pilot projects, in addition to virtual classrooms for research projects, its own postgraduate programs, training plans for teaching staff and administrative and service staff, and other activities. Therefore, some activities for some subjects may be conducted in a blended learning environment.
15 new entry places will be offered.
Students must apply for a place on a separate dual bachelor's degree program through university pre-registration. The cut-off mark for admission to a dual bachelor's degree in a given academic year cannot, under any circumstances, be lower than the cut-off mark for admission to each of the bachelor's degrees included in the dual degree.
The places offered under this category are for the general quota (bachelor's degree and advanced vocational training) and are reserved for applicants with a Baccalaureate degree with an EBAU (Bachelor's Degree in Vocational Training) or an official higher vocational training certificate or equivalent. However, the provisions of Royal Decree 534/2024, of June 11, will be observed for quotas for people with disabilities and high-level or high-performance athletes.
The Double Degree qualification consists of 372 ECTS credits, which each student must complete and pass to obtain the degree.
To remain enrolled in the Dual Degree Program, students must complete at least 36 credits of the credits they enrolled in for the first time. If they fail to complete these credits, they may continue pursuing both degrees outside the Dual Degree Program if they meet the requirements for simultaneous study.
In the event of withdrawal from the Program, the student will have the right to choose the degree they wish from among those included in the Program, once and provided they meet the requirement established by the University of La Laguna's Progress and Permanence Regulations for students who have completed their first enrollment. In these cases, the academic committee of the corresponding degree will make the appropriate recognitions, taking into account the table of recognition of subjects or blocks of subjects approved for the Program.
If a student withdraws from the Program voluntarily or for not meeting the requirements indicated in this article, they will not be able to re-enroll in the Program. Furthermore, withdrawal from the Program is understood to mean failure to enroll in two successive academic years..
If a student decides to withdraw from the Double Degree Program and continue only one of its component degrees, the decision will be considered irrevocable, although in subsequent years they may enroll as a continuing student in the other degree, provided they meet the minimum performance requirements set out in the Permanence and Progress Regulations or, otherwise, submit to the admission procedures.
Since the 1999/2000 academic year, the Vice-Rector's Office for Students at the University of La Laguna has implemented the Program for Students with Disabilities.
