Nor specific prior training is required for admission to the Degree in Law, although the most appropriate training of students corresponds to that of students who have completed the Social Sciences itinerary of the Baccalaureate, as well as the Scientific-Technological itinerary, without prejudice to the Humanities being suitable Also, provided that you have included in your training the core subjects of mathematics included in the Social Sciences itinerary. 

It is advisable that he/she studiesshow interest in aspects related to the training objectives of the degree and have skills that qualify him as a person receptive to the learning outcomes that will be acquired by completing the degree. Among the Desirable qualities of the future student of the Degree in Law are: 

  • That among their interests are aspects of an economic and social nature, as well as well as others related to the social and legal sciences.
  • That presents aptitudes for the oral and written comprehension and expression, for problem-solving and decision-making, as well as for dealing with the public. And a good memory. 
  • That is capable of synthesize and argue critically, to work as a team, to be responsible and consistent in work and to abstract.
  • It is recommended that students have an adequate level of English language proficiency (B1 or equivalent: Baccalaureate, FP, etc.).

Graduation profile

Legal advice and consulting in the public and private sectors at all levels, local, regional, national, and international: advice on civil, commercial, criminal, tax, labor, administrative, and international matters for individuals and legal entities, companies, organizations, associations, foundations, and unincorporated entities, and for all types of public bodies and the public business sector.

It provides the necessary training to study for the master's degree to practice law and solicitor status and to apply for all types of competitive examinations for any public legal body.

Thus, any graduate of the degree can hold positions as a civil servant in the Administration of Justice (judge, prosecutor, judicial lawyer, legal counsel, court manager, among others) or as a civil servant in the Public Administration. Higher positions (State Attorney, Court Lawyer, Social Security Lawyer, Labor Inspector, Social Security Technician, Tax Inspector, among others).

In relation to the above, these graduates can access positions within local authorities (town hall secretary) and within the Autonomous Communities (civil service staff of departments within the autonomous communities, legal services, legal staff of regional parliaments, among others).

Graduates of this degree can also pursue private professions such as notary, registrar, property agent, property manager, and legal advisor in any field.

On another note, graduates of the degree can become civil servants in an international organization or perform their duties within the European Union.

Likewise, graduates may occupy positions as secondary school or university teachers, in accordance with the rules for access to secondary education and access to university teaching staff and research in public and private research centers.

The multidisciplinary training of these graduates allows them to work in all economic sectors, primarily in human resources, personnel, legal, tax, labor, and administration and management departments.
