Students will preferably complete two final degree projects, one for each of the Bachelor's degrees. However, when the Final Degree Project Committee deems it appropriate, a single final degree project may be completed that encompasses the competencies of both degrees and guarantees participation in the faculty evaluation committee for both programs. However, this project must always be enrolled in and graded for each of the degrees.
The examination system for TFG projects, as they are subjects included in the Curriculum, is regulated by the ULL's general examination regulations, taking into account the specificities of the subject matter, as set out in the aforementioned regulations.
The Final Degree Project (TFG) consists of the individual completion by the student, under the supervision of one or more tutors, of an original, self-written study related to one of the subjects taught in the Faculty of Humanities. The student must demonstrate that they have acquired the training content, skills, competencies, and abilities for which the degree course qualifies them. Students must develop and present for their defense a project demonstrating their ability to critically interpret data in accordance with academic practices, and a methodological reflection on the subject of study, supported by relevant bibliographical references.
To ensure that the TFGs are appropriate for the characteristics of the Degree, students are provided with guidance and direction through one or two tutors assigned from among the list of tutors and proposed topics.
The work will be carried out autonomously by the student, in groups of a maximum of 3, and will consist of a supervised research work, with an assignment of 150 hours student's work. The TFG will be compiled in a printed report, which will be defended orally before an evaluation committee and graded like any other subject in the degree.
To improve the development of the subject and facilitate the preparation of the Final Project Report and its public defense, specific criteria have been established, which can be found in the Subject Teaching Guide and the Final Project Regulations.
The presentation of the TFG reports will be done by telematic procedure, through the headquartersA copy of the report will also be submitted to the virtual classroom for the Final Degree Project course. Both submissions will be made one week before the submission date.
The deadline for submitting the report will be announced along with the publication of the schedule and composition of the panels responsible for evaluating the Final Degree Projects. Projects submitted after the deadline will not be processed and will not be eligible for a panel defense.
The management and coordination of the Final Degree Project is carried out through the virtual classroom.
