Article 4.3 Regulations for the Final Degree Project (published BOULL 04/20/2022)
To ensure that the TFGs are appropriate for the characteristics of the Degree, students are provided with guidance and direction through one or two tutors assigned from among the list of tutors and proposed topics.
The TFG consists of an individual or group work of less than 4 students carried out autonomously by the students, with teacher supervision, with an assignment of 120 hours of work of the student, in the case of the TFG of the Degree in Anthropology, and of 60 hours of work of the student in the case of the Final Project for the Degree in Sociology. It will be related either to the analysis of the professional practice of anthropologists or to the study of the theoretical foundations of Social and Cultural Anthropology, and may also have a theoretical-empirical nature. For its assessment, a written thesis will be required, in addition to its oral presentation and defense.
To improve the course's progress and facilitate the preparation of the Final Project Report and its public defense, specific criteria have been established, which can be found in the Course Teaching Guide and the Final Project Regulations. The presentation and oral defense of the Final Project will follow the procedure established in the applicable regulations.
The submission of the Final Degree Project (TFG) reports will be done through the established online procedure, via the TFG subject's virtual classroom.
The deadline for submitting the report will be announced along with the publication of the schedule and composition of the panels responsible for evaluating the Final Degree Projects. Projects submitted after the deadline will not be processed and will not be eligible for a panel defense.
Regarding the management and coordination of the Final Degree Project, you can consult the teaching guide of said subject.
