ha ido evolucionando desde entonces, centrado inicialmente en c\u00e9lulas fotovoltaicas, \u00f3ptica adaptativa y anisotrop\u00eda \u00f3ptica, en la actualidad abarca tambi\u00e9n las \u00e1reas de m\u00f3dulos fotovoltaicos y sistemas, as\u00ed como la integraci\u00f3n de energ\u00edas renovables en redes el\u00e9ctricas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Actualmente cuenta con 3 miembros estables y desde el mismo se dirige la participaci\u00f3n de la ULL en un proyecto H2020 sobre generaci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno con energ\u00eda fotovoltaica, un proyecto Retos para mejorar la eficiencia de m\u00f3dulos fotovoltaicos, varios contratos con empresas del sector energ\u00e9tico y se acaba de constituir una empresa spin-off de la ULL (Energy Research &amp; Intelligence Solutions S.L.) a trav\u00e9s de un acuerdo de transferencia con la propia universidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-button-group stk-block-button-group stk-block stk-7a64e10\" se dedica a al dise\u00f1o, preparaci\u00f3n y caracterizaci\u00f3n de materiales metal-org\u00e1nicos prestando especial inter\u00e9s a las propiedades magn\u00e9ticas, el\u00e9ctricas y \u00f3pticas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La caracterizaci\u00f3n que llevamos a cabo consiste en la determinaci\u00f3n estructural mediante t\u00e9cnicas de difracci\u00f3n de rayos X tanto en polvo como en monocristal. La caracterizaci\u00f3n magn\u00e9tica entre las temperaturas 300 \u2013 2 K mediante medidas AC y DC. Tenemos colaboradores capacitados para la caracterizaci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica mediante medidas de impedancia compleja y colaboramos con grupos de investigaci\u00f3n de la secci\u00f3n de f\u00edsica energ\u00eda, en particular, de procesos de conversi\u00f3n de energ\u00eda infrarroja a visible (\u201cup-conversion\u201d), para su aplicaci\u00f3n en amplificadores \u00f3pticos en las telecomunicaciones, la generaci\u00f3n de luz blanca (RGB) para dispositivos de iluminaci\u00f3n, y su aplicaci\u00f3n a la mejora de la eficiencia de c\u00e9lulas solares fotovoltaicas de silicio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os su investigaci\u00f3n se ha centrado hacia el campo de la fotoqu\u00edmica, integrando la nanotecnolog\u00eda con estos procesos fot\u00f3nicos de conversi\u00f3n de energ\u00eda infrarroja a visible (\u201cup-conversion\u201d) para la degradaci\u00f3n de contaminantes para la purificaci\u00f3n de aguas, as\u00ed como para la obtenci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno a trav\u00e9s de procesos de fot\u00f3lisis del agua (water-splitting), que se enmarca en el actual campo de investigaci\u00f3n conocido como \u201cfotos\u00edntesis artificial\u201d.<br>L\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n que actualmente se enmarcan en Proyecto MAGEC-REEsearch (\u201cMateriales para una Avanzada Generaci\u00f3n de Energ\u00eda y exploraci\u00f3n de tierras raras (REE) en Canarias\u201d) financiado por el Gobierno de Canarias (Programa RIS3) y por el Ministerio de Econom\u00eda y Competitividad a trav\u00e9s de su Programa de Retos I+D . Investigaci\u00f3n Ingenier\u00eda de Materiales (2017)&nbsp;nos dedicamos especialmente a la Reutilizaci\u00f3n y Reciclado de Residuos.&nbsp;&nbsp;Hemos conseguido financiaci\u00f3n en convocatorias competitivas del Gobierno Aut\u00f3nomo a trav\u00e9s de la Agencia Canaria de Investigaci\u00f3n, Innovaci\u00f3n y Sociedad de la Informaci\u00f3n, y de la Fundaci\u00f3n CajaCanarias, \u201cProyecto ECOMATGLASS\u201d, dentro de la l\u00ednea de aprovechamiento de residuos de vidrio sin circuito de reciclado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Actualmente se trabaja en:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Residuos de Impresi\u00f3n 3D, en la actualidad centrados en PLA, produciendo filamento nuevo a partir de residuos (recuperaci\u00f3n, triturado, extrusi\u00f3n\u2026) adem\u00e1s de su caracterizaci\u00f3n estructural, mec\u00e1nica y microsc\u00f3pica,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Aprovechamiento de residuos vegetales de la industria platanera para la fabricaci\u00f3n de vajillas de un solo uso. Pendiente de revisi\u00f3n una protecci\u00f3n sobre el m\u00e9todo de fabricaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Reutilizaci\u00f3n y aprovechamiento de residuos de vidrio grupos&nbsp;de investigaci\u00f3n, uno de Qu\u00edmica Anal\u00edtica y otro de F\u00edsica (de Ciencias de los&nbsp;Materiales), ambos de la Universidad de La Laguna, Tenerife. La profesora de&nbsp;Qu\u00edmica Anal\u00edtica, la Dra. Ver\u00f3nica Pino, es la investigadora principal del nuevo&nbsp;grupo MAT4LL, que actualmente&nbsp;incluye profesores e investigadores de diferentes&nbsp;disciplinas: Qu\u00edmica Anal\u00edtica, Qu\u00edmica Inorg\u00e1nica y Cristalograf\u00eda. El grupo&nbsp;ha estado ininterrumpidamente financiado por el Ministerio de&nbsp;Econom\u00eda y&nbsp;Competitividad desde el 2013 con la concesi\u00f3n de diferentes proyectos. Desde&nbsp;entonces, el grupo ha publicado conjuntamente m\u00e1s de 84 publicaciones en&nbsp;revistas cient\u00edficas&nbsp;indexadas en el JCR y 15 cap\u00edtulos de libro en editoriales&nbsp;internacionales. Adem\u00e1s, las investigaciones llevadas a cabo en el grupo han&nbsp;dado lugar a la creaci\u00f3n de la empresa spin-off Alisio&nbsp;Chemical Technologies SL&nbsp;con el fin de comercializar la tecnolog\u00eda desarrollada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>El objetivo principal&nbsp;del grupo de investigaci\u00f3n MAT4LL es el dise\u00f1o de nuevos materiales funcionales,&nbsp;que sean medioambientalmente sostenibles, selectivos y eficientes para su uso&nbsp;en m\u00e9todos&nbsp;anal\u00edticos de preparaci\u00f3n de muestras para el an\u00e1lisis&nbsp;medioambiental, agroalimentario y biocl\u00ednico. El grupo ha adoptado una&nbsp;estrategia multidisciplinar de forma que el equipo de trabajo no solo&nbsp;incluye&nbsp;investigadores del campo de la Qu\u00edmica Anal\u00edtica y de la F\u00edsica, sino que&nbsp;tambi\u00e9n incluye colaboradores de otras \u00e1reas como Qu\u00edmica Org\u00e1nica, Qu\u00edmica&nbsp;Inorg\u00e1nica y Parasitolog\u00eda.
