developing excellent, translationally oriented biomedical research focused on regional biosanitary needs, the specific objectives of the ITB are the following:<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The design and execution of research projects around the scientific lines of the institute, through the implementation of a management system and a research agenda aimed at generating results.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participation in the organization and development of interdisciplinary master&#039;s and doctoral programs, staff training, courses, seminars, conferences and any other activity related to training.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establishing effective procedures for attracting high-quality research, technical, and management personnel, while maintaining and improving human resources.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establishing cooperative interactions with other research centers.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaboration with the productive sector for the development of biotechnological applications to specific problems, promoting innovation and the transfer of knowledge and technology.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The implementation of healthcare innovation, based on the results of clinical and epidemiological research.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The dissemination and outreach of the concepts and advances of Biomedicine, contributing to the generation of a cultural
