Gender differences in renal disease focus on diabetes and obesity. Granada, Spain (09-13\/09\/2023).\u00a0<strong>Dr. Teresa Gir\u00e1ldez Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>\u00a0(Member of the Local Organizing Committee)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training Days of the Biomedical Research Center in Network of Respiratory Diseases (CIBERES) and Infectious Diseases (CIBERINF), Madrid (15-16\/06\/2023).\u00a0<strong>Dr. Carlos A. Flores Infante<\/strong>\u00a0(Member of the Organizing Committee)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Awarding of research prizes, such as:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manuel Rico-Bruker Prize of the Spanish Biophysical Society, awarded to Dr. Teresa Gir\u00e1ldez Fern\u00e1ndez<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>XXV Young Researcher Award in Human Genetics, Spanish Association of Human Genetics, to Dr. M\u00aa del Mar del Pino Yanes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organization and participation in 24 activities for scientific dissemination (face-to-face and virtual), such as:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pint of Science outreach festival at the Tenerife venue (organized simultaneously nationwide in more than 50 venues). (11\/17\/2023).\u00a0<strong>Dr. Diego Alvarez de la Rosa Rodriguez<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insane experiment.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ivoox.com\/podcast-experimiento-demente_sq_f1636240_1.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Science outreach podcast<\/a>, 19 programs broadcast during 2023).\u00a0<strong>Dr. Guido Santos<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Active participation in the Master&#039;s programs in Biomedicine and Biotechnology, and the Doctoral programs in Health Sciences at ULL, with the presence of most of the research groups and lines of the Institute.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defense of 14 doctoral theses, directed or co-directed by members of the institute.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Publication of 169 scientific articles indexed in reference databases (JCR, SJR).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Management as researchers responsible for +9M\u20ac derived from research projects and agreements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organization of 11 ITB research seminars and 28 scientific courses and events, such as:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshop: New tools for organizing work in the laboratory: OneNote and Basecamp. IBRO 2023-IBRO 11th IBRO World Congress of Neuroscience.
