Mu\u00f1oz de Bustillo Alfaro (Programa de Doctorado Ciencias de la Salud ULL, 2021-2025)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>L\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nuestra l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n se centra en identificar y elaborar nuevas v\u00edas gen\u00e9ticas involucradas en la neurodegeneraci\u00f3n, particularmente en la Esclerosis Lateral Amiotr\u00f3fica (ELA) y la demencia frontotemporal (FTD), a trav\u00e9s del desarrollo de nuevos modelos de ratones con enfermedades junto con material derivado de pacientes. Estos estudios se encuentran en el centro de una colaboraci\u00f3n m\u00e1s amplia con importantes laboratorios nacionales e internacionales, que incorpora una experiencia \u00fanica en disciplinas gen\u00e9ticas, bioqu\u00edmicas y de biolog\u00eda celular. El trabajo del grupo se centra en el desarrollo de nuevos modelos de rat\u00f3n de ALS\/FTD, con un enfoque particular en la biolog\u00eda de TDP-43, la prote\u00edna patol\u00f3gica clave involucrada en ALS. Sobre la base de estos enfoques estamos construyendo una amplia colaboraci\u00f3n internacional que incluye varios laboratorios de Europa y EE.UU., as\u00ed como de Espa\u00f1a.
