The Institute of Political and Social Sciences at the University of La Laguna manages, teaches, and collaborates in academic teaching and research on various subjects related to tourism. It also frequently organizes seminars and conferences on relevant topics, with an emphasis on those that pave the way for responsible management of natural resources to promote the sustainable development of tourism activities.
The in-depth analysis of the different international realities and initiatives makes it possible to give a global dimension to this type of activity, enriching its content and thus guaranteeing an efficient transfer of the richest knowledge to students and professionals of Tourism.
Official undergraduate and postgraduate degrees are offered, as well as the direction of doctoral programs, designed to improve the preparation of future tourism workers, as well as establishing the most suitable and cohesive environment for the development of research activities.
