(1) Las bases neurol\u00f3gicas, epigen\u00e9ticas, cognitivas y de personalidad del cuidado materno. M\u00e1s espec\u00edficamente, estudiamos los casos de negligencia infantil en los que hay una incapacidad de sus padres para cuidar y proteger al ni\u00f1o para cubrir sus necesidades f\u00edsicas, cognitivas y emocionales. La negligencia infantil tiene consecuencias negativas en el desarrollo epigen\u00e9tico, neurobiol\u00f3gico y psicol\u00f3gico de los ni\u00f1os. (2) Las bases neurol\u00f3gicas de la toma de riesgos en la adolescencia en contextos sociales. Estudiamos grupos de adolescentes y j\u00f3venes adultos, as\u00ed como j\u00f3venes adultos bajo medidas judiciales, contrastando medidas cerebrales con un perfil de medidas conductuales. Tambi\u00e9n hemos investigado la importancia de los l\u00edpidos esenciales que desempe\u00f1an un papel crucial en el envejecimiento neuronal y que contribuyen a la agregaci\u00f3n aberrante de prote\u00ednas y a la neurotoxicidad en la demencia m\u00e1s com\u00fan. Tambi\u00e9n trabajamos en intervenciones diet\u00e9ticas basadas en los l\u00edpidos esenciales (AGPICL) sin\u00e9rgicamente con el estr\u00f3geno que parecen rescatar parte de los sellos neuropatol\u00f3gicos relacionados con la EA.
