href=\"https:\/\/erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu\/es\/opportunities\/opportunities-for-organisations\/cooperation-among-organisations-and-institutions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cooperation between organizations and institutions \u2013 Erasmus+<\/a>&nbsp;This is the second key action within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme opportunities, to promote five main activities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Associations for cooperation<\/strong>: to gain experience in international cooperation and consolidate their capabilities, but also to produce tangible and innovative results of high quality.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Alliances for innovation<\/strong>: to strengthen European innovation capacity in higher education, vocational education and training, business and other areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Capacity building (youth)<\/strong>: to promote cooperation and exchanges, improve the quality and recognition of work in the field of youth and support new mobility projects for non-formal learning in partner countries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Erasmus Mundus design measures<\/strong>: projects that support the design of high-level master&#039;s degree programs, taught jointly by an international consortium of higher education institutions from different countries around the href=\"https:\/\/mathia-project.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00a0&quot;Artificial Intelligence Model to enrich and improve mathematical skills in adolescent students&quot; (MathIA)<\/a>\u00a0It has secured significant funding in the competitive international Erasmus+ call for proposals. This ambitious three-year program, which will conclude in October 2026, represents a significant step forward in the application of artificial intelligence in education.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>A team of researchers from the University of La Laguna is actively participating in this project, comprised of four specialists in mathematics, four in physics and engineering, three in social sciences, and three in behavioral sciences. This group of experts collaborates with educational institutions across Europe in the development of MathIA. General coordination is led by Ana Fuensanta Hern\u00e1ndez of the University of Murcia, in conjunction with entities such as the University of Pavia, the University of Madeira, Vicente Medina School, Mayco School, the Di Via Angelini Comprehensive Institute, and the University of La Laguna. In total, the consortium includes eight institutions from Spain, Portugal, and Italy, all committed to innovation in mathematics education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MathIA&#039;s primary objective is to improve academic performance in mathematics, one of the subjects that students typically find most challenging. Through the development of an artificial intelligence model, the project aims to optimize adolescent learning by providing tools that foster a more personalized pedagogical approach. Furthermore, it seeks to promote equal opportunities and attention to diversity, with a particular focus on raising awareness about giftedness, learning difficulties, and special educational needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The potential impact of this project on the educational community is considerable, as it will not only benefit students but also provide innovative tools for teachers, facilitating the transfer of knowledge to society. MathIA is based on the ethical and responsible application of artificial intelligence, with the aim of adapting teaching to the individual needs of each student, thus promoting a more equitable and inclusive education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of its initial actions, the team has developed an introductory training course in artificial intelligence for secondary school teachers, which will begin implementation in September 2025. In addition, a bank of teaching resources is being developed to facilitate lesson planning, promote learning in STEM areas, and help reduce test anxiety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To achieve these objectives, the project is structured around five lines of work focused on the design and development of the AI model, its impact on math and STEM skills, and the promotion of equality and attention to diversity. It also includes the creation of three digital platforms: one dedicated to disseminating information about the project, another for teacher training, and a third that will host the database used to train the artificial intelligence system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MathIA represents a significant advance in the intersection between technology and education, promoting an innovative approach adapted to the needs of students, and establishing itself as a key initiative in the modernization of mathematical learning at the European level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-columns exclusion<\/a>\u00a0(PIPE). Coordinates the design of a Toolbox for professionals, volunteers and public institutions (WP2) that work with, for and by migrants.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the creation of an accessible interactive platform, the team of researchers from the ULL has developed a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1M_AptNzPNaGkxWuV7i-g1C4MBzUTnQh5\/view?usp=drive_link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Guide for teaching the national language to migrants<\/a>Available in six languages\u2014the Spanish version is available here\u2014this guide is grounded in the principles of critical pedagogies, emphasizing interculturality, the dialogue of knowledge, an ethics of hospitality, feminism, sustainability, and digitalization. Furthermore, it has just concluded the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1lBbEXJ-J-IJvPpqpOGkXDJNiajC68OSY\/view?usp=drive_link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Guide and action plan<\/a>\u00a0So that institutions, NGOs, and associations can design training strategies based on the continuum of cultural competence, implementing principles of a pedagogy of hospitality through the integration of an ethic of mestizaje (cultural mixing). Currently, the project is developing a toolbox and planning strategies to identify areas for improvement in diversity policies at different institutional levels, with the aim of connecting these policies with training resources. To this end, it has organized and categorized tailored and personalized resources for each user, contextualized to the countries and languages participating in the project. The pedagogical tools housed in the PIPE toolbox will be tested through...\u00a0<em>workshops<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>colloquial talks<\/em>. by institutions and professionals from Greece, Denmark,
