He has been a professor of Analytical Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry since 1998. He began his teaching career at the ULL in 1991 as a Faculty Assistant. He currently teaches in the Bachelor&#039;s Degree in Chemistry and Physics, as well as in the Master&#039;s Degree in Chemistry. Within university management, he has been Director of the Department of Analytical Chemistry (2003-2007), Coordinator of Quality and Teaching Innovation at the Faculty of Chemistry (2008-2012), Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry (2012-2014), Vice-Dean of the Chemistry Section of the Faculty of Sciences (2014-2015) and Vice-Rector for Students (2017-2019).<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<details Sciences (1995) from the University of La Laguna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has been a full professor of Analytical Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry since 1998. He began his teaching career at the ULL in 1991 as a Faculty Assistant. He currently teaches in the Bachelor&#039;s Degree in Chemistry and Physics, as well as in the Master&#039;s Degree in Chemistry, but has also taught in the Bachelor&#039;s Degrees in Pharmacy, Environmental Sciences, and Industrial Chemical Engineering. Within university management, he has served as Director of the Department of Analytical Chemistry (2003-2007), Coordinator of Quality and Teaching Innovation at the Faculty of Chemistry (2008-2012), Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry (2012-2014), Vice-Dean of the Chemistry Section of the Faculty of Sciences (2014-2015), and Vice-Rector for Students (2017-2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Likewise, taking into account the responsibilities of the Vice-Rector&#039;s Office, it is worth highlighting that he served as a member of the Undergraduate Studies Committee (2012-2019), responsible for studying and submitting to the Governing Council proposals for modifications to undergraduate degrees or proposals for new ones; he served as Academic Director of the Master&#039;s Degree in Chemistry (2013-2014); Coordinator of the POAT of the Chemistry Section (2019-2020); and Coordinator of the Final Project (FDP) for the Degree in Chemistry (2013-2023). Regarding institutional assessment and quality, his active participation in the verification, modification, and accreditation of several undergraduate and master&#039;s degrees stands out, as well as his participation in the committee that prepared the documentation that led to the Chemistry Eurobachelor Seal for the Degree in Chemistry.
