The Master's Final Project (TFM) is compulsory and key to the degree, as it assesses a large number of specific and generic competencies, as can be seen in the corresponding Teaching Guide.
The Master's Thesis will consist of carrying out research under the supervision of a professor from the Master's Degree. The knowledge and skills acquired in the degree will be developed and applied with the parallel objective of evaluating these acquired skills. Likewise, the Master's Thesis will allow graduates to begin a research career, thus fulfilling the dual orientation of the proposed degree: researcher and professionalThe work must be defended publicly in accordance with the regulations. The topics of the TFM can be agreed with the tutor, from a proposed topic, or they can come from the offer that is available from public or private entities to solve certain challenges and problems that are posed to us. Therefore, the TFM can have a purely research nature, or it can be a work closely linked to a problem that is being addressed by a private company or a collaborating public entity.
In any case, the TFM must be summarized in a Report that will comply with the scientific, technical, and professional communication criteria established by the American Psychology Association (APA).
To ensure that the TFM is adapted to the characteristics of the Degree, students are guided and directed in their work by an assigned tutor. To improve the development of the subject and facilitate the preparation of the TFM Report, specific criteria are established that can be consulted in the Teaching Guide for the Subject and in the documentation published for this purpose.
Through the template, form and/or report for the evaluation of learning outcomes, the tribunals in charge of evaluating the TFM assess the scope of the acquisition of the degree's competencies and learning outcomes.
