Master Degree in Management in Nautical and Marine Transport

Final Master’s Project (TFM)

The Final Master’s Project (TFM) subject is compulsory and is key in the degree, since it includes the evaluation of a large number of specific and generic competences of the degree, as can be seen in the Guide Corresponding teacher.

The Final Master’s Project (TFM) involves carrying out a project according to the lines or areas of research established. Likewise, it consists of its presentation and defense, according to the TFM regulations of the ULL.

Through the template, form and/or report for the evaluation of the learning results, the tribunals in charge of evaluating the TFM assess the scope of the acquisition of the competencies of the degree and the learning results.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLETING THE TFM

To carry out the Master’s Thesis, students must meet the following general requirements:

  • Any academic requirement established by the degree in its Verification/Modification
Report and in the teaching guide of the subject.

For the proper completion of the Master's Thesis, the Academic Committee will assign a tutor to each student from among the teachers participating in the Master's. A summary of the
project in English must be incorporated into the final report of said project.

This report will be publicly defended before a court created for this purpose. In the presentation and defense of the report, the student must prove their personal identification by presenting their  official document (DNI, equivalent national document or passport).

Two modalities of presentation and defense of the TFM will be offered to be chosen by each student: remotely through a real-time videoconference system, or in person at the University of La Laguna.
