CONDITIONAL ADMISSION

It is primarily intended for students who are completing their degree at the time of application (April-May), but who are in a position to meet one of the following two conditions by the beginning of June (when the administrative review of the documentation takes place):

1. Hold a degree and meet the language requirement (usually a B1 level of English)
2. Meet the conditions for Conditional Enrollment (see information below): that you have a maximum of 9 credits left to complete, the Final Degree Project and/or the language accreditation.

For example, if you apply for places in April or May and haven't yet finished your degree, but by early June you're in one of the two situations mentioned earlier, you can apply for admission to a Master's program that allows conditional admission. The Master's Academic Committee, after evaluating your application along with your academic record and CV up to that date, will be able to grant you a decision. «"Conditional Admission"» in May (before taking the May-June exams)

To qualify for this option, it will be necessary Sign the Declaration of Commitment at the time of submitting the application, and in which it is declared that he has read and agrees with what is established in points 3 and 4 of the instruction, that is, that if the conditions for which the conditional admission was granted are not met, he will be excluded from the procedure

What happens once you are conditionally admitted in May? You must justify, at the time of the administrative review in mid-June (you will receive a notification with the publication of the provisional list of those admitted to the procedure), that you meet one of the two conditions previously stated: either you have obtained and accredited the language, or at least you meet the conditions for Conditional Enrollment:

• If, at this time, you hold a degree and have the required language level, your conditionally admitted status will change to definitively admitted.
• If you do not have a degree and/or do not meet the language requirement, but you do meet the conditions for Conditional Enrollment, your status will become permanent as long as there are places available after those with accredited language skills have been admitted, and depending on the order obtained in the ranking based on your score.

CONDITIONAL ENROLLMENT

The Conditional Enrollment (MC) It allows enrollment in master's programs that apply Conditional Admission and Enrollment, even if some of the entry requirements are not yet fully met. (Regulated by the Regulations for conditional enrollment in university master's degrees at the University of La Laguna. approved by agreement of the Governing Council of 22 March 2024 (BOULL No. 24, of 2 April 2024), amended by Agreement of 23-03-2025 of the Governing Council of the University of La Laguna).

Those who find themselves in one or both of the following situations at the time of application review (in June, in the ordinary review, and in August, in the extraordinary review) may opt for this modality

Degree pending

Not yet possessing the required qualification, provided that only the following remains pending:

• He Final Degree Project (TFG), I
• a maximum of 9 credits to complete the degree.

Language accreditation pending

Not having accredited yet the required language level according to the established procedure

In the process of allocating places, priority will be given to applicants who already hold a university degree and can prove proficiency in the required language

Once admitted and enrolled, those enrolled through MC must have obtained the corresponding degree and prove the required language level before the start of the last call for applications of the academic year (before the July call for applications)
