Application for Admission to Master's Degrees 2025-2026

Step by step application process

Before you start

  1. The calendar: See Annex 2

Have all the documents you need for admission ready. Once the application has been submitted, it cannot be modified.

If your access qualification is from universities OUTSIDE the EHEA You do NOT need to have your degrees homologated but you DO need that the ULL verifies that its qualification accredits a level of training equivalent to the qualifications that grant access to an official master's degree at the ULL.

To start the procedure for this check, follow the instructions in the following link step by step.: Electronic Office – Application for access authorization to pursue official Master's studies with a foreign higher education degree not recognized in Spain and issued by a country outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). Once you have it, you must apply for admission, and you must attach this document to your application. 

  • No will be admitted applications submitted by other ways other than telematics, neither presented out of date
  • It will be the applicant's responsibility to submit the correct documentation within the application period: There will be NO deadlines for correction of the required documentation.
  • Failure to submit the correct documentation within the established period will be grounds for exclusion, with no possibility of correction..
  • Before the correction period ends, You will have to have paid the registration fee of 10 euros required by the Government of the Canary Islands.
  • If your diploma and/or transcript are in English, French, Portuguese, Italian, Catalan, or Galician, you will not need an official translation. Otherwise, one may be required.

ALL applicants must have at least a B1 level in English and must prove it in advance here: Electronic Office – Application for language level recognition within the CEFR framework for students and prospective students of the University of La Laguna

Unless it is recognized with subjects or degrees from the ULL passed (Language level accreditation - Master's degrees).

Once such accreditation has been granted, You do NOT have to upload any documents in the application, as the system will automatically recognize it. But MAKE SURE that this requirement is marked "green" in the admissions application. 

This requirement can be corrected during the administrative documentation correction period. If you fail to do so in a timely manner, you will only be eligible for conditional enrollment in master's programs that allow it.

The Government of the Canary Islands requires the payment of a fee of 10 euros To apply for admission to a ULL master's degree, which will be deducted from your tuition fee if you are admitted. You must pay the fee. since it is a requirement MANDATORY to be admitted to the procedure. 

The fee payment is made through the Headquarters of the General Foundation of the University of La Laguna (FGULL) through this link . It is recommended that you follow the instructions presented in the Tutorial.

Once you pay it, keep the receipt. 

The requirement to pay the fee can be corrected during the administrative documentation correction period, but will result in permanent exclusion if not corrected in a timely manner.

The new procedure is very simple and intuitive (IT WILL OPEN ON START DAY (10:00 AM): Application for Admission)

Summary of the procedure (Tutorial):

  1. Log in with the ULL credentials or the one obtained in step 1. 
  2. Fill in all the information and upload the required documents.
  3. Save the draft
  4.  Check the notifications at the beginning of the application, they should be ALL GREEN.
  5. When there are no error messages, open the request using the button enabled at the end of the application, review it and click the VALIDATE button (click on the enabled tab)
  6. SAVE once validated. You will receive a confirmation message and proof of submission.

You will receive messages at each relevant stage: end of administrative review; end of academic committee review; and publication of provisional and final admissions.
