Application for Recognition of Health Credits for access by foreign students<\/b><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

According to the Organic Law of the University System, any official foreign university degree in Psychology that meets the requirements established in Order CNU\/1309\/2018, of December 5, will be valid for access to the Master's Degree in General Health Psychology. This order includes that at least 90 ECTS credits of compulsory subjects be linked to Health Psychology. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These 90 credits must be recognized by Spanish universities, in our case by the University of La Laguna.<\/span>, <\/span>according to the Resolution of November 16, 2023, of the General Secretariat of Universities, which publishes the Agreement of the Council of Universities, which establishes recommendations for the accreditation of compliance with the requirements established in Order CNU \/ 1309\/2018, of December 5, for access to the Master's Degree in General Health Psychology in foreign official university degrees in Psychology (BOE No. 298, December 14, 2023). The evaluation criteria for these applications can be found at the end of the document. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The procedure to be followed by those interested in proving this compliance is as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.- Submit the accreditation application through <\/span>General application addressed to the Postgraduate Studies Office of the ULL<\/b> via the following link: \u00a0<\/span>Electronic Headquarters \u2013 General Application (ull.es)<\/span><\/a> with a deadline of April 27, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.- In the application, you will have to <\/span>attach<\/b> (in the space reserved for this purpose in the general application), <\/span>compulsorily<\/b>, <\/span>the following documents<\/b>: <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Document proving the identity and nationality of the applicant, issued by the competent authorities of the country of origin or provenance. <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. In the case of residents in Spanish territory, declaration by the applicant authorizing the verification and checking of his\/her identity in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 522\/2006, of April 28, which abolishes the requirement to provide photocopies of identity documents in administrative procedures of the General State Administration and its linked or dependent public bodies. <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Title for which accreditation is requested, or the certification proving its issuance (*).<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Academic certification of the studies carried out by the applicant to obtain the degree, stating, among other things, the official duration in academic years of the study plan followed, the subjects taken, the workload of each of them and, where applicable, the corresponding ECTS credits obtained (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System). (*)<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Proof of payment of the corresponding fee, if required in the validation procedure carried out by the universities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. If the file is requested through a representative, it will be necessary to provide proof of such representation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Responsible declaration in which the interested party declares the veracity of the data provided, as well as being in possession of the original documentation required in the requested procedure. Said documentation may be requested by the competent body at any time during the procedure, as well as requesting clarifications or, where appropriate, additional documentation deemed necessary to verify the requirements and assess the application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Application form for analysis of the file specifying the subjects to be accredited for the 90 ECTS in health.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Programs or teaching guides for the subjects and\/or courses to accredit the 90 ECTS in health.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    (*) The documents indicated in sections 3 and 4 must be legalized through diplomatic channels or, where applicable, by means of an apostille under the Hague Convention. This requirement does not apply to documents issued by the authorities of Member States of the European Union or signatories to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and Switzerland. (**) The documentation ofwill have to go<\/span> accompanied<\/span>, where applicable, of the corresponding official translation into Spanish.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Assessment criteria<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. The recognizable degree must be of the same academic level as the Spanish Bachelor's degree in Psychology.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. The degree must have a minimum of 180 ECTS credits, or 1,800 teaching hours if the degree is not organized in ECTS credits, and be designed to acquire skills or learning outcomes specific to Psychology. <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Applicants with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology with a duration of 180 credits, or 1800 teaching hours if not organized in ECTS credits, may incorporate other official postgraduate studies in Psychology for the analysis of subjects related to Health Psychology.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. The foreign degree must give access to Master's studies or equivalent level in the country of origin.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. The contents of the degree must include a minimum of 90 credits or 900 teaching hours if the degree is not organized into ECTS credits that can be considered of a health nature, assessing their suitability in accordance with the object of study of psychology included in the thematic areas of the State Research Agency: <\/span>\n
        \n
      1. Basic Psychology Area. Minimum of 12 credits or 120 teaching hours if the degree is not organized in ECTS credits in relation to learning processes, memory, perception, attention, language, thought, intelligence, motivation, emotion or executive functions.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Area of Psychobiology. Minimum of 12 credits or 120 teaching hours if the degree is not organized in ECTS credits in relation to biological foundations of behavior, physiological psychology, psychopharmacology, cognitive and affective neuroscience, neuropsychology and ethology. <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Area of Personality, Assessment and Psychological Treatments. Minimum of 30 credits or 300 teaching hours if the degree is not organized in ECTS credits in relation to personality psychology, individual differences, clinical and health psychology, psychopathology, mental and behavioral disorders, lifestyles and healthy habits, methods of assessment of psychological variables and psychodiagnosis, methods of psychotherapeutic intervention and prevention of problems of psychological functioning. <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Area of Social Psychology. Minimum of 12 credits or 120 teaching hours if the degree is not organized in ECTS credits in relation to the study of social interaction between individuals and between groups in diverse social contexts and the influence of the physical and social context on the behavior of people and groups, covering the study of attitudes, emotions, norms, prejudices, conflict, discrimination and social influence, communication and persuasion, culture, violence, prosocial behavior, psychosocial intervention, social cognition as well as the work context, organizational behavior and human resource development.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Area of Developmental and Educational Psychology. Minimum of 12 credits or 120 teaching hours if the degree is not organized in ECTS credits in relation to processes of behavioral, emotional, social and\/or cognitive change throughout the life cycle; neurodevelopmental disorders, learning difficulties, educational and instructional psychology, analyzing the psychological processes of teaching-learning in educational contexts, as well as ways to optimize them.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      6. Area of Behavioral Sciences Methodology. Minimum of 12 credits or 120 teaching hours if the degree is not organized in ECTS credits in relation to statistics, data analysis applied to behavioral sciences, psychometrics and research designs. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
