The Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization and Cooperation, together with the Vice-Rectorate for Students at the University of La Laguna, has organized the Welcome Day for the first semester of the 2026-2027 academic year, aimed at exchange students: SICUE, Erasmus, and non-EU students. This semester, the University of La Laguna is welcoming 715 exchange students, including SICUE, Erasmus+, and participants in various non-EU exchange programs.<\/p>\n
This event will be held on Friday, September 18th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Faculty of Fine Arts, and will be an excellent opportunity to share useful information and answer any questions. The aim of this event is to facilitate the integration of all these students into the University, familiarize them with the main university resources and services, and foster connections among students from the very beginning of their stay.<\/p>\n
The day will include an institutional welcome by the Rector, the Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Cooperation and the Vice-Rector for Students, as well as the participation of different services and units of the University of La Laguna.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, students will be able to learn firsthand about the resources that the institution makes available to them in areas such as mobility, languages, the library, sports, university information and guidance, training and initiatives linked to internationalization and European alliances.<\/p>\n
AEGEE Tenerife will also be present, an association with which the University collaborates on various activities aimed at mobility students and in the development of the Buddy Program, an initiative that connects visiting students with local students to facilitate their integration into the university community.<\/p>\n
The program will combine an informative aspect with a more relaxed meeting space, which will include music, activities and refreshments, with the purpose of promoting interaction between mobility students, local students, associations and members of the university community.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
