The course «"Spanish Women Writers and Intermediality in the First Half of the 20th Century"» It is part of the 2026 University Extension Courses program «"Connect+ Expand your Knowledge.". It will be held in an asynchronous online format between June 6 and 24.

This course aims to equip students with both theoretical and practical knowledge to understand and analyze the relationships between different artistic languages and media in the creative output of Spanish women writers from the first half of the 20th century. It also seeks to highlight the modernity of these creators as promoters and users of innovative strategies to channel their work through technological advances, such as radio and film, at a time marked by the struggle for women's rights and the empowerment of women in the public sphere. In doing so, it reclaims the creative work of these women, which has historically been overlooked due to its interdisciplinary nature. From this perspective, the course offers numerous learning opportunities, as these authors laid the foundations for today's interconnected art.

The course is aimed at students of degrees linked to the field of Arts and Humanities and the general public interested in interartistic relations (film, music, radio, performing and visual arts).
